upon reaching, i started to bake the cake. it was a pre-mixture cake tat i got cos i dun have the time to bake from scratch and i tink with my limited baking skills, i cannot make it. hahaha... to guarantee there will be a bday cake, i better dun try for the intermediate. so after mixing the cake mix, i told Joyce is ready to bake. after putting into the oven for abt 1 or 2 mins, i realised.... my swirl mixture was still not put in yet! hahaha... well, is a swirl cake so there is a swirl mixture to put in. whahahah... how blur i can get. then on and off, muz check for the cake, in case burnt. all was good and fine. after abt 1 hr, here is the cake:
freshly taken out from the oven.... well, there is a crack in the middle of the cake ah... but did u see the very mild swirl. heehee... result of me not remembering to put in swirl in time. heehee...
after a layer of icing, here is a new look for the cake. oh... & we flipped the cake over. so the base had became the top and the top became the bottom. heehee... & when i was mixing the icing, the butter din melt tat well! whahaha... & tis final masterpiece, according to Joyce, it was like a supermarket cake. really faint ah... so...
in order to make it more personalise, here is writing of Tess' name with the icing by the side of the cake. it wun look so much like supermarket cake liao lor...
then cos we dun have bday tag, i had to drew it last min. & i tink my spelling always fail, i act make a mistake in the wordings. can u spoil it? heehee... anyway, at abt 1145pm, i walked back from the house to my house with Philip. Isaac was outside my house to meet us. we try not to make her notice we came back. then i sms huiying and asked her get ready. so coincidentally tat my neighbour is celebrating bday for their fren. so is like their celebration is so loud. hahaha... we walked up to Tess' room with the cake at 12am with the bday song. obviously cameras r clicking and Tess was shocked! she din noe wat happen and cannot react in time. then she only said she is not well dressed, so dun wanna take photo. whaaha... who cares, rite? we r homely pple, celebrate at home with home attire mah. here r the homely photos...

blur photo...paiseh ah... i am trying to show the "swirl" within the cake. heehee... it can be seen sia... nice leh... then today is suppose to be dinner celebration for Tess' bday but becos bday girl not feeling too well so everything was cancelled. ended up we had our own celebration at home by ordering PIZZAS! woohoo~~~!!!! although the pizza-0rdering and delivery process was full of hurdles, we still enjoyed our pizzas very much. with photos shown as below. as we enjoyed the FULL Pizza Indulgence, we were watching the all time familiar Singapore Variety Shows which i downloaded via MOBTV. heehee.... all was good. at least we had a FULL meal sia!!! last bday to celebrate @ our house. of cos we muz have a good memory. yeahz!!! we will have ah... cool...
3 BIG pizzas for 3 of us & with a 10-pack Chicken Kickers. we surely can eat, rite? whahahaha... i do admit. our house' gals surely can eat. even the guys r complaining abt our ability to EAT!
