yeahz!!! is chinese new year period again with pretty new year clothes, lots of goodies & homemade traditional cuisines... ang baos... nice shows and movies... in the past when i am still younger, tis is a festival i really look forward. as i can "earn" $$$ by saying "gong xi fa cai" to all the married adults i meet and there r alot of good food around for me to eat non stop. haha... of cos, there will be very nice clothes to wear every year.
now tat i grow up, of cos i still love tis festival but is for a different meaning. i see it more as a great opportunity for family gathering. for 1 whole year, we r busy with our own stuff, seldom do we meet nor sit down and really chit chat or have dinner. new year is when everyone comes home... young and old... we will gather around and enjoy the family warmth and listen to everyone's latest updates and ou er find out some spicy news... haha...
tis year, new year is exceptional important and precious to me. as after i go back to brisbane, i wun be back in the next 1 and a half year unless some special family reason. thus next yr, CNY will be spent alone in aussie which is going to b real different from now. i dunno how it is like but i certainly treasure tis yr's CNY more than anyone do. i am glad to see so many of my relatives before i fly off tis coming sun. as usual their quest r how r u? how's aussie? how's studies? can cope? can adapt? such quest i ans dunno how many times thru out tis period until mouth quite numb but i do understand tat it their concern and care lah... heehee...
not only did i met up with relatives, as a usual practice, every year my pri sch and i will go and visit our pri sch teachers. heehee... it had been 10th year since we graduated. tis year we gave them a special pressie, is a collage pic with photos of all of us thru out these few years. is certainly very heartwarming to see all my frens and teachers who had been with me since i was as young as 12 years old. i really treasure tis nan de the relationship with all of them. last year i missed the CNY visiting, tis year i am contented to be able to say hello and goodbye to all of them once again before i leave. heehee...
well, CNY hols is coming to an end... back to reality. cannot keep on having dreams... haha... older by one before CNY, definitely wiser by one yeahz! flying off tis sun, my reality will be pack bag... still got some stuff which i haven't buy. muz start to buy and start to pack my bag so tat i can fly off on sun ah. lazy to pack but still have to lah... haiz...
overall, happy happy for tis hols spent in spore.. really happy to see so many pple though i miss out some. nevertheless, i am contented...

my 22nd birthday...
heehee... juz reached home... y am i so late leh? well, now is 28 jan 2.50am... juz few hrs ago which is yesterday, 27jan is my 22nd birthday! heehee... at the strike of twelve at nite of 27jan, sms and msn msg came in one after another to send me their wishes... really thank u very much to everyone who send me the msg.. some unexpected msg which make me feel real great... some disappointed as i am awaiting for some impt pple to msg... haha... anyway, is over! i am officially 22 years old liao... older by one... hopefully is wiser by one too...
now... question abt how i spend my bday leh??? tis year bday was very "clean" as there is no sabotage of "cake bath" like last year... tis year bday was very quiet and simple. partly reason is tat everyone is busy with their own stuff and i oso dun really see the need to have some sort of celebration ba... juz wanna simple and easy. in fact my bday celebration was on last Sunday with my spice buddies from sec sch... we celebrated 3 bdays together, me, jun and lian... heehee... fun and unforgettable combined bday for the 1st time... really love all the fun and photos we taken tat day...
okok.. back to 22nd bday on 27jan... how i spend it? well, the nite before i had a cold and so din really had much energy. woke up late and then after breaky, went to buy some stuff for my returning to aussie. i start to prepare to go out at abt 6plus as i am meeting my fren at abt 7pm at suntec. well well, is juz 1 fren. and reason y i meet him is becos last week when he asked me out, he suggested friday and i agreed straight w/o realising the date. anyway, since i already agreed with him, i oso lazy to change. meeting someone diff for bday oso kinda nice... haha...
i told pat tat tis fren i am meeting will definitely dun rem my bday. she asked me then y i still go out with him and is weird... well, i was tinking is ok lah. so long nv see him plus no one date me out for my bday lor... hahaha... when i met him at suntec, true enough he din rem. i oso din say much. continue to look for place for dinner. along the way, i keep saying today is a special day. he asked me y i keep repeating ever since last week. haha... he very blur until i cannot help but keep laughing lor... then when we decided to go to NYDC for dinner, while waiting for our food, he asked if it is my bday... then i juz showed him my IC and the date today. haha... he was kinda shocked and nv expect to be so qiao... haha...
he insisted to treat me for dinner though i keep saying i dun wan. then we went for movie and yes, he paid for it again. haiz... kinda paiseh to make him pay for dinner and movie. i wanna go dutch but he juz refused. after movie, it was kinda late. we took a cab home. 1st stop, my house. without saying, is he pay the cab fare again lor. i wanna split, he dun wan lor. haiz... act he too ke qi liao... i went out with him on bday din expect him to treat me. i juz wanna go out and enjoy for bday. he even offered to send me up to my house... lucky i insisted NO ah... so late liao... my poor boy... haiz... anyway, really thank him for a simple and yet wonderful bday. dun tink he will see tis entry lah... but still wanna say:
PS: hey boy, thanks for the dinner and movie treat plus taxi ride. really appreciate alot and i really had fun. it is the most quiet bday i ever had for tis few years and i am very contented abt it. juz as i told u, i need tat attention on my bday and i got it tis year. thank u really very much... cheers!!!

Sway... Sway... very sway ah...
today is a tiring day... really walked until leg going to break...
in the morning, i went for medical appointment at national skin care centre. then before i go for dental appointment in the afternoon, i tot of going to Orchard OG to get my bedsheet. End up the one i wanna is out of stock!!! i dun wan give up hope, i went to Robinson at centrepoint to find. oso out of stock!!! then i went to John Little, guess wat? is out of stock too. then i saw a quite nice one so i tot of taking tat one then ok liao. but i refuse to give in. i still hope to find cos i can still go to Taka, isetan, Ck tangs and metro in Orchard.
so after dental appointment, i went to taka, isetan, tangs and metro. guess wat? my 1st choice of bedsheet is out of stock at all places!!! is damn damn sway ah... then at Ck tangs, i saw my 2nd choice. but i still dun wan give up. so i decided to go down to OG at bugis to try my luck. but still, lady luck not shining on me ah.... OG even worse. only left with 2 patterns. i really wanna cry liao. so i went on to my last hope at Seiyu cos i no more strength and time to go to other places liao. so i went to Seiyu to look for my last hope!!! guess wat??? haiz... i am not tat lucky after all... i din see my 1st choice... tat is a very nice one... so is ALL sold out! and is cheap!!! i saw my 2nd choice and tat is the last piece!!! so without hestitation, i bought it. cos i am really tired liao... lucky Seiyu got additional 15%. if not, all my walk will be wasted. haha... & my bigger bonus is i got a cheap cheap bargain from Aussino. I bought a bedsheet from Aussino @ $12 only. but only got 1 desgin i like. so lucky i got it... is last piece too leh... heehee...
finally!!! i got all my bedsheets. i can relax a bit now liao. i will treat these 2 bedsheet very very good ah... cos i went thru so much so much pain and walking to get them lor. haha... & is nice... yeahz!!!
now after CNY, i need start to pack my stuff liao. no time liao... need buy a few tings too... hmm... hopefully in time ba... heehee...

My Dearest SPICE buddies -- Lian, Jun, Jas, Lin... I will miss u all so so much...
haha... today went out with my sec sch clique - Lian, Jas, Lin & Jun. is a combined celebration for lian, jun, and my bday. yeahz... had a hard time arranging the meet up but it was real fun as we had alot of laughter and chatting over dinner and while shopping. haha... photo taking was fun... our grp photo was not too well taken for 1st 3 times so until before going home, we tried again. finally got 3 different pple to take for us and gotten some more decent grp photos... yeahz!!! cheers!!!
i am going to miss them so so much when i go back to Aussie. tis is the 10th year of our friendship but unable to celebrate with them if they having a party at chalet. but i shall call back and cheers with them. haha....

Happiest day ever since i come from Aussie...
i felt really happy today... heehee...
well, y do i say so leh??? hmm... cos i heard 3 pieces of good news today. haha...
1st news: there is a change in the exchange rate for Aussie dollars which means i dun have to pay so much. haha... tat day when i went to bank buy bankdraft, i almost fainted. i tot it was good rate so i faster go buy. end up the bank quoted me A$1 to S$1.2765... i really wanna cry liao cos i tot it was at most 1.25. but today... haha... the bank called my aunt to tell her that the rate was wrong! haha... it shld be only 1.23. yeahz!!! we save alot of $$$ becos of the lower rate which means i dun need to pay back so much $$$. yippee!!! but how come the bank so blur leh... haiz...
2nd news: i have confirmation for my outgoing flight back to Brisbane! yeahz... finally. & i saved $25... haha... y i say so leh? initially i wanna buy the air ticket from STA travel which offers @ $1140 including taxes and airfare. then my ex colleague called me cos i act sms her last week, asking her help me check air fare for student. so she told me it will be $1115 including taxes and service fees. BUT my preferred flight is on waitlist while STA can offer confirmation. understand as it shld be different booking class. anyway, today my ex colleague told me tat there is confirmation for the seats and i got my preferred flight. hahaha... yeahz!!! yippee!!! so juz to announce... haha... i am going back on 5 Feb, taking midnite SQ flight. heehee... coolz!!!
3rd news: is act not my good news but i feel happy for my buddy, pat! heehee... today i saw her. she told me she is attached ah!!! heehee... yeahz... juz few days ago i was toking to san san abt a guy interested in pat. today she came telling us tat she is attached liao. yes, is quite fast as they only noe each other a while. but can see pat is happy abt it and tings can slowly go on from here ba... i noe her wish all along had been fulfilled when she was 21st yr old last year. now another wish of hers is fulfilled too! heehee... as her good fren, i really feel so happy for her... extremely happy for her as such a nice gal like her shld deserve good treatment. i tink she shld be reading my blog on and off... maybe by chance she will see tis entry. so got so words for her ah...
to pat: i feel really happy for u ah!!! when i heard tat u r attached, i din say much but i really feel happy for u... as ur good fren, i really wanna see u xing fu. noe u r happy now... but do rem wat san san told u. and as buddies, i will support u all the way. jia you & wish u and ur "monster" all the best ohh... heehee... jia you ba!!!
nutting can really beats when u see ur close ones feel happy.. even u r in the worst mood, u will be influence by ur close ones' happiness... heehee...
