yeahz!!! the internet for my aussie's home is finally up! heehee... as mentioned in my previous entry, i will post all the photos taken for my last few days in Spore after Chinese New Year and before i flew off on Sat.

i met up with my poly frens, Joanna, Jace and Pat for dinner @ Marina Square. we din take photos of wat we ate for dinner but we took photos of our dessert @ Coffee Club!

i am really grateful and thankful to God for creating them. my spice buddies, they r the one whom i always always can rely on. i noe when i am down, when i am not doing well, they r still the ones standing by my side. true tat we r all busy with our own life, still at the end of the day, with their presence, everything will be solved. juz a small joke from Jun or Lin, some form of cold jokes from anyone or argument from me and Jun r good enough to brighten the day... once again, they helped me thru again... so hereby really wanna THANKS them!!! Jun, Lin, Lian and Jas, THANK U!!!

23 Feb, Fri - day before i left for Aussie...

is a long awaiting KTV session with my bro, sis-in-law and cousins.. heehee.. it was a great nite out. sang so so many songs and had so much fun laughing at my bro's cold jokes and teasing around. hahah...

it had been since a long while tat i have a decent gathering with my cousins. i still rem when we r young, we always always go out together with my auntie and uncle after Chinese New Year dinner. and when we grew up, more commitments, less time r spent together liao. so tis is such a great opportunity to catch up with them. heehee... & of cos with my silly brother, tis hols was a very very well-spent one. haha... 3 weeks working @ the same company as him really helped me to understand my bro even more and a great time for me to speak to him, joke with him and have fun teasing and irritate him. i am so going to miss him, tis silly and idiotic brother of mine. hahaha... i once said to someone tat "i am losing my bro in some way" but the person told me tat "usually bro show their concern for sister in a diff way". i believe wat tis person said cos i noe at the end of the day, bro is still my bro and he will nv turn his back on me. yes! i am very very certain abt tis!!!

back in Brisbane...

back in brisbane on Sunday... flew off on Sat nite after dinner with my family and Auntie @ Fish & Co. overnite flight always very tiring but i rather take overnite flight than to spend a whole day on the airplane with morning flight... hahaha...

upon reaching, I told Philip tat we r back home liao... well, tis is our home oso ah. juz tat it is a temp home only mah... :P as usual, on a Sunday, after a long hols break, Brisbane airport was packed with people! mainly students i would say. haha... checking out of customs took quite a while. claiming luaggage and waiting to clear the last stage of customs was a very long wait. my dearest Lian gave me some cooking paste (curry, tom yam and bak ku teh) as xmas pressie so with all tat, i got to declare tat i brought in food items. hahaha... i tot they wanna open up my luaggage to check. ended up, the officers juz asked wat was it and put my luaggage on scan & tat's it! haha... lian, thanks very much for ur paste.. it went thru safely and i have some good paste to use for cooking liao... yeahz!!!

hmm... nutting much change abt my Aussie house. juz tat some ants invaded my house and take charge of my kitchen. i had to slowly clean up all of them. & as for my fridge, it was as if Icebergs popping up and it make my freezer look like North Pole ah! hahaha... whole of my sunday was cleaning up kitchen and the freezer. before going out for dinner with Philip, Joyce & Wai Juan, finally managed to unpack my luaggage. i tot i will fall asleep straight after reaching home, end up i got to do so much work before i can rest for the day. haha...

currently, i am in sch using internet as my house internet r not ready yet. so i will upload watever photos taken during my last few days in spore once my house internet is ready. okk... i shall end off now... lastly, to everyone in spore... I am SAFE & SOUND back in Brisbane liao!!! yeahz!!! :D

yesterday was a trip back to NP. saw some lecturers and my CCA advisors. all still look very radiant. a very familiar feeling back to NP campus ah. hahaha... then at nite was meeting up with Jace, Jo and Pat for dinner. juz too bad tat San San, Eugene and Ian cannot join us. well, nvm ah. at least earlier on i already met up with them liao.

today is a very packed day. lunch with someone special. (cannot say ah!) then dinner with my usual Spice gang @ vivo. is where i 1st met them when i came back 2 mths ago lor. hahaha... then meeting Edwin for dessert. oso at Vivo so tat i can stay longer with my Spice gang. hahaha...

tomolo is home sweet home ah. cos i need to sit down and be a good girl to do my packing!!! so tat at nite i can go out for KTV session with my father and cousins!

sat will be busy day again... need to go pray pray cos i "fan tai sui" & then at nite off to airport!

Chinese New Year Updates!!!!

is the Chinese New Year updates! i had really great fun tis new year. gathering with all my family, relatives and friends. lots of goodies to eat, ang baos to collect and fun to enjoy. so much so tat i really wanna stay longer ah. hahaha... had been busy working for past 3 weeks so tis new yr is really a great relief for me before i go back Aussie to pia for last sem ah.

let's see... wat did i do for tis new year? lunch and dinner gathering with family and relatives. visiting relatives to collect ang baos. hahaha... a midnite movie with my cousins, auntie and uncle, mahjong session with auntie, uncle and grandma. hahaha... fruitful Chinese New Year! & here r some highlights for this festive period...

17 Feb 2007 - Chinese New Year Eve 2007

is a day i always looked forward to since young. tis is the day when everyone in the family will gathered together for Steamboat dinner! & i can see my grandma running in and out the kitchen bringing out bowls after bowls of soup base and ready cooked food. she will nv stop and sit down and eat with us. hahaha... tat's my grandma...

tis yr grandma's house is exceptionally crowded ah. cos we have additional guests. heehee... my sis-in-law came along with my bro and not only did she joined us for dinner. she oso cooked fried bee hoon. taste not bad & my cousin, Weiqi simply love it. hahaha... & my eldest cousin, Seow Wai & her family oso joined us for dinner. so there i am playing with my lovely niece, Lynnette while everyone is busy at the "Lao Yu Sheng". heehee... in the midst of everyone running around, toking abt, me & bro made use of the good chance to take photos with our lovely niece, Lynnette! heehee... she look so cute with big round eyes, ever alert to listen to watever is going on in the surrounding.

21 Feb 2007 - Chinese New Year 4th Day

today is a visit to my cousin, Seow Yin's house with my grandma, bro and sister-in-law. heehee... it had been 1 long yr since i last saw my eldest niece, Joyce. she grew up sp much. last yr when i saw her, she was still using her butt to move abt. tis time round, she can run abt. we had fun running after the bubbles and trying to catch them. her smile is very lovely. typical little girl smile, innocent and pretty. i really had great fun playing with her and i am really going to miss all these.

is the period of the year again! woohoo~~!!! can earn money liao... cos i still can receive Ang Baos lor. & hopefully tis year got additional Ang Baos from my brother ah. whahaha... & may i have the luck to win some money by lucky hands ah. heehee...

tis new year of Pig is considered my year in some way ah. cos i was born before Chinese New Year last time so i am half half... half Pig & half Rat but shld be considered as Pig lah. whahaha... yeahz!!! so is my year! hopefully i will have a good good year.

be appreciative & contented.. life will be better..

God is not so cruel after all. when he make u lose something, he will give u something in return. as long as u r appreciative towards wat u gain in return, u can be happy too. learn to be contented and dun keep harping on the past issue. everything happen for a reason, no point keep thinking and feeling upset abt it.

in life, something juz dun happen ur way or as u wish. however, u will be compensated in a diff way. so most of the times, we really need to learn to forgive and forget & let it go. we oso need to be thankful to God for giving us something in return as compensation.

"i am learning to look at things in a diff way. i am learning tat everything happen for a reason. i am learning to let go of things. i will be a happier person..." this is a strong belief i am drilling into my head everyday. i believe i had been doing a good job all these while in tis area and i believe i will do a better and better job as days go by.

~Great KTV session on Ladies Nite~

is Ladies Nite!!! yeahz!!!! whahahaha... FINALLY! me rem when is ladies nite for K box so i asked the girls if they r interested in singing KTV. heehee... my regular khaki for KTV, Ms Ang Shuwei agreed straight ah. then still helped to ask for more khaki and so Jen & Shupei joined us too! as for Wen Hui, me and her r great minds tink alike cos she oso wanna go singing tis few weeks. heehee... well, so on Thursday nite was really Ladies nite... sang from 7pm till abt 11.30pm. we din eat dinner lor... only shuwei tabao KFC. our dinner was all the titbits provided. hahaha... it was a great KTV session ah! sang alot of songs and manage to go with my fav lot of KTV khaki... tis is wat i call REAL enjoyment! wat can i ask for more, rite? will definitely miss all these when i go back Aussie ah... so muz have some memories to rem... & here u r, photos taken for the KTV session... *quote from the girls: MUZ QC all photos taken with San's camera cos watever r taken have very high possibilities of being posted in her blog ah.* whahaha... well, is quite true ah... but i always choose those good ones mah... so pple, dun worry lah... :D if not, u see for urself lah...

overnite gathering @ my house...

tis post a bit late ah... but no choice ah, been quite busy lately. on sat, suppose to be my clique's gathering and overnite stay to celebrate all 5 of our bdays. however, last min hipcup. lin was unable to stay on, lian went to JB so she came late and jas was working in uni so she was very late too. haiz... wat a day ah.. when everyone is so tired and so busy... but anyway, we still had a great nite. me, jun and jas played and chatted till rather late... when lian KO straight after bathing. hahaha... though is not a complete gathering, still i appreciate as i really love having tis kind of over nite stay with all of them. yeahz!!! gonna miss it when i go back Aussie. so muz take some photos for remembrance:

although i personally feel that today's Spore team's performance not tat fantastic, still i feel very glad tat they r the CHAMPION!!! the Thai players really lack in sportsmanship ah! towards the end of the game, a Thai player used his head to knock our Spore player lah. rite in front of the linesman and camera and referee saw it lor! idiotic ah!!! NO yellow cards or watever so lor. juz warning only lor... well, so for tat stupid knock, i really YEARN for Spore to win liao!!! & Spore's goal for today's match was very good! it was fast and strong!

so muz have encouragememt for Spore team!!!!

today is a busy evening ah... cos 2 impt program showing on TV at same time... whahaha... so both my TVs r ON. watching soccer and Project Superstar at the same time.. overall comments for today's Project Superstar, personally i dun tink both Daren and Diya did a good job thru out. out of the 5 songs each of them sang, i only like Daren's last song performance. somehow i feel tat they dun project their voice well enough with LIVE band and Unplugged. mayb too gan chiong ah... watever it is, i tink now Daren's fans shld be very happy ah... whahahah!!! oh ya! if there is an award for FANS, i tink shld go to Diya's fans... they r livelier and more energetic! very power in their cheering thru out ah! Bravo~!

"customers r NOT always RIGHT but they r always FIRST!"

"Customers are always right!" a golden statement most customer service sectors will bear in mind. & this is wat I heard from my boss today with regards to a very sour issue that happened yesterday and today. well, i act wanna say tis to my boss ah... "Boss, u r not rite by saying tis sentence lor... cos customers r not always right BUT customers r always FIRST!" BUT i din say tis to my Boss lah, cos i noe he is vexed enough. if i add on, will only create more irritation for him. somemore he is my boss leh... whahaha... no lah, juz kidding ah... he is an understanding person but juz tat i feel very not worth it for him, my fellow colleagues and company lah.

a recap of wat happen:
everytime when a car come in for servicing or repairs or watever, pple at the service reception area will take down the details of the owner and car. then along with each car, there will be a service booklet to record all the past details that had been done to the car so tat car owners can monitor their cars for next servicing date. & usually my boss will sign and stamp on the booklet after writing down the details. & the book will either be kept straightaway into the car or passed to the service desk pple for recording purposes. after which, whichever mechanic who is taking charge of the car will take along with them the car job card, customer service booklet and the car up to the workshop for servicing. and the service booklet will not leave the car once brought up to the workshop. it will be kept in the car's compartment or left on the car seats. tat is how the procedures run...

so on tis particular car, Car X, tis was wat happened. unfortunately, a hip-cup ocurred. suppose to be a minor issue, ended up to be a BIG BIG issue which bcame a super irritating topic all around the office, workshop and car showroom. the service booklet was LOST! it was not in the car. and the owner quickly called us to ask us if we had misplaced it. so searching high and low for it everywhere, we found NOTHING! so my boss said tat we can replace a new booklet for the car, however there is a need to wait for a few weeks as our computer system is currently down. no way we can track any history for the car's past servicing details. BUT the customer did not buy our idea and suggestion. he insisted to have back the old booklet. and worst of all, he called my sales pple and becos he is CUSTOMER, our sales pple come after us lah. trying to pin-point whoever could have misplaced or took the booklet. see how ridiculous it can be. we r all colleagues, instead of explaining to the customer patiently, she came after us and accusing us for taking the booklet. for GOD sake, use her brain to tink properly before she shoot out the question or words, WHY WOULD WE WANNA TAKE THE SERVICE BOOKLET? damn ridiculous... however tis is not the end... guess wat happen next? car owner of Car X specially drove the car down to our office to ask my boss to take a good look at the car and make sure booklet is not in the car. and on top of tat, he even came to my office and look high and low for the booklet, pointing to every possible look alike item. and worst of all, we r all TEKAN by him. my colleague called the owner earlier to double check if the booklet was really sent in together, for tis... the owner said tat he was very upset by this sentence cos he felt "accused" of telling a lie on whether he brought in the booklet. tis is another one who nv use his brain to tink ah... tis is not call ACCUSE lor... tis is juz DOUBLE CHECKING... wat is call accuse is wat is he doing in our office, pointing fingers here and there, making a big hoo-ha over a small booklet. & even have those silly suggestions of fixing a camera at our service reception desk to monitor the whole process so tat if any of such issue happen, we can trace back. if he tink tat he own the company, by all means, go ahead to implement tis silly idea! & he even asked if there is a lost and found section in the whole area whereby pple could take and leave it there. i have no comments for tis statement. cos any sensible person will noe, NO ONE will be interested in a car service booklet! & if really someone pick it up, they will noe it belongs to my office, they will give it back to us! so after making so much noise, he finally shoo-off! all the while he was rattling on, my boss was so patient and understanding to listen. i really really take my hat off my boss for his 100% attentive customer service attitude.

my conclusion:
i had always been in customer service all these while. i noe how difficult customers can be and how ridiculous they can get. & i understand the anxiousness of losing something is really very unbearable cos we r all human, we will get worried when we lose our stuff too. I admit tat it is really our fault for the lost booklet cos since the car was left with us, it is only right for us to make sure all things r in tact. & tis case, i do sympathise with the car owner BUT tat is for a while ONLY!!! cos his stuff can be replaced! is not tat he cannot get back, juz he need to wait a longer while for us to fix everything up. rite here, we r not trying to pin point who took the booklet, we juz wannat try to find it asap if it is still within our office area. haiz... i seriously rest my case for such customers... watever words to describe him, i oso dun wanna mention ah. watever u guys can tink of, juz use ah... ARGH~~~!!!!

is definitely a bad day @ work where tings can juz go wrong as and when it like and the impact can be double or triple combo ah!!! haiz... really bo bian ah... tis is customer service line ah!!!!
