anyway, today's entry is abt the River Fireworks Display i went last nite but due to my blur-ness, i uploaded the photos in "sala" (means wrong in malay) way ah... if jun sees tis, he will say "is becos ur mind is tinking of food lor so upload food pics 1st! as usual ah...". hahaha... no lor, is really i tot wanna share videos last mah so muz let it flow leh...
last nite was Riverfire in Brisbane. the once a yr fireworks display tat lasted 30mins! woohoo~!!! i went for it in 2005 & 2006. tis yr is the last time i will be there to witness the ever lovely fireworks display tat can juz melt ur heart and brighten up ur mood! @ 7pm sharp, 2 RAFF-11 aeroplane lighted up the dark Brissy sky by flying across with 2 BIG "fireballs"... *vvvoooommmmm*.... brilliant! followed on was the 1st round of fireworks... *poom-poom* ~poom-poom~ i tried to capture the 1st round of fireworks cos i wanna enjoy the rest after tat. is juz so tiring to keep my neck tilted up, hands holding on camera and eyes trying to peek out of camera screen to look @ the fireworks. had been doing tis for past 2 yrs. tis yr, i juz wanna enjoy the fireworks so the photos seems a big lousy ah. hahaha... anyway, can still see is fireworks lah! :D
i wanna ans Shupei's entry in her bloggy abt y Sporeans r so enthu abt fireworks? "pei ah, cos fireworks can really brighten up ur mood. yesterday i was half dead when i reached the place. we set off 2 hrs earlier & waited for the ferry for 1hr before we reached the place and stood by to wait for 1hr before it started. i was in uni for whole day. brain dead and exhausted. yawning non-stop till the aeroplane came by, the 1st sparks went off... Iris Lim was revived! woohoo~!!!"
then after fireworks, we had a hard time getting out of the place. total 5 of us went for fireworks. Fiona, Isaac, Philip, Jia Ning (my coursemate) & i. yet only we 3 gals r together to watch the fireworks. we lost the guys! hahaha... they went to buy some snacks & din come back in time for it. according to them, they din see the fireworks wor... *nvm guys, see my photos and videos here lah... :D* dinner was at west end. wanna try Greek food but is so damn expensive. so 5 of us decided to change location! Makan House instead! Makan House served Spore & Malaysia style cuisines. Hanianese Chicken Rice, Mee Goreng, Char Kway Teow, Singapore Noodles, Hor Fun... sound yummy leh.. *drooling* u can find all these in Spore but i juz wanna intro wat we can get in Brisbane. taste is far from back home, still we shall be contented with wat we have... :D
Hanianese Chicken Rice! according to the 3 of them (Isaac, Fiona & Philip) who ordered tis, is not so nice wor... juz okay nia... & fiona's plate of chicken is HARD! hahaha... then Isaac said the chicken rice i cooked is better wor... of cos lah! is all thanks to Prima Taste cooking paste. highly recommended cooking paste! heehee...
the combination Hor Fun tat i ordered! Hor Fun is my fav ah! then fiona asked me to order some dish which i cannot cook at home. well, i can't cook hor fun at home so muz eat till shuang. i shld go and find out how hor fun is cooked, rite? hmmm.. anyway, tis hor fun a bit salty ah... like salt or soy sauce no need money ah... water, pls!!!!
Jia Ning's dinner was Singapore Noodles. is fried bee hoon & they called it Singapore Noodles here. heehee... basically is bee hoon stir-fry with satay sauce and many diff ingredients and vege. apparently, Jia Ning said tat tis dish is popular in China. mmm... do we have it in Spore? not tat i recall. hahah... i shall go back & cook it on my own & let u guys sample ah! :D
while waiting for food to be served, i decided to said "can i have my camera pls?" & the 2 guys' replies were "NO!" hahaha... who cares abt them? i juz wanna take leh... :p take we gals cannot meh? 2 pink ladies and a blackie! nice combination leh...
the after dinner, while digesting our food at the restaurant, my camera is out again! wanna take the photos of the guys & yet they wanna act COOL! so i shall juz show watever photos i captured. blek~
Fiona & i have to "catch" hold of them to sit still for a photo lor.. y so camera-shy sia? aiyooo... & y isn't Isaac smiling leh? he said he smile but cannot see wor... so we decided a 2nd photo to be taken...
tat is when the 2 irritating guys decided to act cool and funny by not smiling & have some weirdo expression. hahaha.. is quite funny though... & wat i find tis photo perfect is tat Fiona & I had such radiant smiles!!! so tis photo will be perfect withOUT tat 2 weirdos... but come to tink, with them around, we gals can then stand out with tat cheery and radiant smiles wor... heehee... those who agree, dun put up ur hands! yeahz... all of u have ur hands down, so u agree with me leh... whahaha...alrighty! back to main character of the nite... Fireworks lah! heehee...

many pple sitting around to wait patiently for 7pm to come & the fireworks to light up the dark brisbane sky against tat skyline at the back of it. many pple went for pinic for the day and sit around to wait till evening. i wanna do tat but i had to be in uni ah... haiz... nvm lah, is good enough to be there in the evening.

wowow... i saw it with my own eyes last nite when we walked pass the shop... gosh~!!! u need more than 10 pple to finish the whole ting sia...
