My 23rd Birthday is full of Family Warmth and Wishes...

as i mentioned in my previous entry, wat a day to start work lah. on my bday, i had to report to work at the car company my bro is working in. early in the morning, 6am when my alarm clock went off, i really hate it!!! then my aunt was in the bed next to me, suddenly tok to me in her sleep.. "yoho... wake up lor.. if not u will be late." damn it! gota face the reality. i have to go to work lah. so no choice lor, dragging myself out of my comfortable bed, waking up at 6.40am on a Sat morning, on my bday somemore!!! ARGH~~~!!! so much unwillingness but gota face reality. whahaha...

after abt half an hr travel on MRT, finally i met up with my bro & off we go, walking to the office from Queenstown MRT. i had been to his office for once but really not much impression. then when i went into the office, i saw his boss and another female colleague. after some intro, he brought me around to take a look at all the other areas. from workshop to showroom to toilet to canteen to customer lounge. quite a big place where i need to do a lot of walking liao. hahaha... cool ah! hmm...not much i can mention abt my job nature cos is not really take over my bro's stuff (not able to lah.. he help customers check for the car's prob. me ah... noe NOTHING abt cars lor...), me juz there to help write down customers' details, ans phone calls and some paper work. hopefully all goes well for these 2 weeks... bro is away for reservist from Mon onwards for 2 weeks ah. no one else except for his boss and the female colleague noe tat he is my bro. is better dun tell others too. well, in pri sch, everyone else always noe me as "Weilun's sister". now i am back in "shadowing" my bro ah. whahaha...

anyway, half day at work exchange for... my bday dinner celebration with my family!!! yeahz... long awaiting moment... THANK U very much to my bro for tis treat... whahahaha... we had our dinner at ROMANEE's Kitchen @ Lau Pat Sat. food still not bad but juz a bit saltish. and there r too many dishes. we cannot finish lor... had to "ta bao" home ah. whahaha... overall, pleasant dinner as all of us had fun and it was a very FULL dinner! stomach bursting! & it had been a while since we sit down as a family, laughed and joked around. whahaha... look forward to next gathering over dinner during Chinese New Year! yeahz!!!

Me & Angel ONE, Weiqi... look after her since she was a baby. carried her whenever she comes to our house. we dun see each other everyday but we r very closely bonded. i still rem the 1st time when she saw me earlier tis month when i 1st came back from Aussie, she came over and gave me a BIG hug. nv forget tat moment... yesterday, she gave me another HUG again... "thanks, girl!"

tis is Angel TWO, Wei Hui. always always with tat funny and cheeky facial expression. always with unexpected requests which will nv fail to surprise me. a very stubborn girl who has her own way of tinking and doing tings but still is a lovely girl who is very kind hearted to small animals and gentle towards younger kids.

my Angel THREE, Wei Zhi!!! heehee... his front tooth dropped off so made him look cuter ah... well, a typical boy always jumping up and down. and a hyperactive boy who is nv tired of running around. with him around, we can have non stop laughter. i like to "fight" with him cos his hands r too short to reach me.. surely will be i win ah! whhahaha...

a kiss!!! hahaha... full of saliva lah... but he is very sweet lor... specially came over and tell me in his very gentle and soft voice "Happy Birthday, Weishane Jie-Jie!" then gave me a kiss...

let's have a look @ wat we ate for dinner ah. well, not completed cos i was too engrossed with the food. whahaha...

the homemade diamond shape beancurd with some buttered mushrooms. taste very nice... & there r some spinach in it.

big & fat "xiang gu" (chinese mushrooms) with boiled broccoli.

some other dishes... Sambal Kang Kong (enough chilli so is juz the rite taste!), Roasted Chicken (a bit saltish but the chicken is kinda tender) & Sweet & Sour Pork (not too bad!)

had a wonderful bday dinner... really really enjoyed very much. heehee... so much laughter and fun ah... whahaha... gonna miss all these when i get back to Aussie. muz enjoy all these to the fullest ah!!! shall look forward to the upcoming CNY eve's steamboat dinner. heehee... another round of food, fun and laughter... yeahz!!!!

27 Jan 2006, 12am on MRT!!!

happy birthday to me!!! heehee... 23 yrs old liao... (hui & lian, i'm joining u gals liao lah...). sound kind of old ah... but nvm lah, everyone has to grow old mah... so nutting to worry, rite? whahaha...

tis yr bday will be diff from last yr... cos later in the evening i will go for dinner with my family... treat from my bro... whahaha... so long nv spend bday with family liao... good chance ah...

anyway, the very 1st moment for tis yr bday was spent on MRT ah! whahaha... was waiting for MRT to go home at orchard MRT with Chee Wei. heehee... tis old friend of mine very good lah. went out for dinner and movie with me & gave me a treat for all these. "hey Chee Wei, thank u very much ah!!!" heehee...

haha... we went to watch "Happy Birthday" by Louis Koo and Rene Liu. heehee... quite a nice show.. ending was good in the sense tat it was really short and to the point. no drag on... & i teared a bit towards the end... *faint*... lucky is in the dark... haha... if u guys dun mind watching chinese movie in theatre, can try to go and watch. not too bad ah... worth watching!

& here r my bday wishes for tis yr... "finish my degree in ONE piece! whahaha..."

& bday thank u to... EVERYONE who wishes me thru sms, msn and watever way... & it had been a fruitful year with many pressies from all the loved ones... thank u!!!!

is a long long day... of walking & more walking...

today is a FULL day... in the sense tat i went out for whole day... from morning 10am till nite abt 10pm. gosh~~~~ legs going to break liao...

went to see doctor for my review at NSC & bought medicine for abt $200plus ah. i am super duper broke after all these sia... gosh~~~ haiz... but wat to do, all these money cannot be avoided cos the medication is really good in controlling my situation. for long term investment.. heehee...

then went to meet Leona and Philip after tat. haha.. so long nv see them cos ever since we all left aussie, we haven meet up till now. suppose to pass the Starburst "babies" sweets to Leona (she still little girl who wanna eat sweets ah... ahhaha). anyway, glad to meet up with them ah. chat for a while after lunch before we walked around Orchard. and is a very tiring walk ah!!! helped Leona choose her CNY's clothes is a super tiring job ah!!! she ah... forever tis one not good, tat one not her type. i give up ah! hahaha... well, in the end, she bought something at least ah. hahaha... Philip oso. so din waste our trip walking around and around...

after they left, i still need to stay at Orchard to wait for my "S.H.E". hahaha... is Pat & San San lah... yeahz! meet them for dinner (treat for San San from me and Pat) & shun bian collect my bday pressie. heehee... love them so much ah!!! always nv fail to forget abt my bday... yeahz!!! ~muacks~

haha... sat was a fruitful day sia... although the weather not so nice, i still feeling great! cos i did 2 tings which i had been longing to do when i was in aussie ah!!!

1st ting is to carry and play with my lovely niece, Lynnette! heehee... finally after a few weeks, i got the chance to visit her and look at her. as i was toking and playing with her, she seems to understand and can smile at me. so cute ah... when i carried her, she is so small lah... sleep comfortably in my arms. hahaha... lucky i nv forget how to carry baby ah... she is such a smart girl.. very responsive to voices and music. trying to tok as we r toking among ourselves but of cos watever she is saying r all baby toks... whahaha... "eee-yaa-eee-yaa..." tat was wat she was saying the whole morning... whahaha...

forget to take photos for 1st round of hokkien mee and fried oysters.. so here is our 2nd round of food... chicken wings, satay and sambal stingray... we all chip in 10bucks and juz order watever we wanna to eat and share ah... very shuang to eat in tis way ah... whahaha...

our last round... cos all cannot eat anymore liao... Fried carrot cake!!! nice ah... miss it so so much...

after chomp chomp, we headed down to Yunci's house for.... my long awaiting... MAHJONG! yes! yes! yes! din had chance to play the previous time at my house with 2/4 pple... so tis time round, i muz play with my pri sch frens ah.. hands very itchy to play mahjong sia... whahaha... okok... i noe i am setting bad impression by getting them play mahjong with me when they juz saw me after so long but i noe they will understand lah... whahaha... suppose to be over nite mahjong but ended up juz played till abt 12.30am and we went for supper lah. whahaha... and surprisingly, i won ah! i din win alot of $$$ but i am still contented ah... hahaha... i played with Yunci's grandma and very stressful lor... then now win her money, a bit paiseh sia... but then i muz say ah... her "Ah-ma" really very good ah. very alert, even more alert than us ah. still correct our mistake lor... whahaha... hmm.. come to tink, i miss out on taking grp photos with my pri sch frens ah... haahah... nvm, shall await for Chinese new yr to take with them ah... yeahz!

anyway, i am contented liao... played mahjong liao... eat the food i wanna eat and play with the niece i had been longing to see so all seems very good so far... slowly can prepare for special day (heehee), chinese new yr and go back aussie ah! yeahz... oh ya! here is another piece of good news... me going to be auntie again... heehee.. not so soon yet.. shld be in aug ah. yeahz! once again... woohoo~~!!!

my legs r aching after a day of walking around...

tis morning i went to see dentist and he turned out to be someone who wun laughed at the jokes he said ah. cool sia... usually pple will laugh when they crack jokes ah. tis dentist really steady ah... not even facial expression telling me tat he is laughing at the jokes lor... make me oso dunno shld laugh or remain cool ah... whahaha...

then i met Fiona for lunch and now both my legs r kinda aching ah... cos me and Fiona really walked a lot today... gosh... from Marina Square to orchard, we went round almost whole orchard ah. cannot tahan ah... well, all for one motive ah... heehee... a good one of cos! cos Fiona wanna buy me a pressie for my bday ah... and she came to ask me choose my own pressie and tell her. so might as well we go out for shopping and check it out together! yeahz!

got nutting from marina square so there we were, heading down to Orchard, Far East and finally got wat i wanna! yeahz!!! so it became my 1st bday pressie ah... whahaha... act quite weird meeting Fiona in spore ah... cos i noe her in Aussie act. is like she is Yunci's JC fren and Yunci intro to me so now she became my fren too. but most of our times together r spent in Aussie. whahaha... tis is 1st time i met her in spore sia.. well, kinda warmth feeling oso cos so long nv see her and is like have lots to tok to her ah... can u believe it, we met like abt 1 yr plus ago only ah... whahahaha... but seems as if we noe for ages lah... always can tok non stop when we go out... i tot in aussie only... today when we went out, oso same ah... whahaha...

the art of give and take...

as per the title:
give... meaning to give in to other people's requests and preferences. take... taking wat had been given or offered to u according to ur preferences and requests. i always always believe tat the art of give and take is very important in maintaining human relationship. be it kinship, frenship, boy-girl relationship. cos in all cases we r facing human and human beings r complex and unpredictable by nature.

in many instances, human beings always have all kind of requests and preferences whereby they will expect others to understand and give in to. however, in other instances, they forget wat is known as respect and understanding. the reason behind the art of give and take is very simple... "give the same treatment to someone in the way tat u would like to be treated" always be polite, understanding and respectful. if u wanna pple to give in to u, u muz 1st learn to give in to pple. by doing tat, u will then have the rights to take in pple's kindness to u. in this world, nutting is always one-sided. yesterday and today, u may be the one who always get wat u wanna. tomolo and future, u may not get all tat anymore. when u take in, u muz learn to give in too.

when we r dealing with human relationship, always rem tat appreciative and understanding r very impt. u learn to appreciate wat others have done for u or offered to u as well as look from other pple's perspective to spare a tot for others. human beings have their emotional and soft sides. therefore when they feel tat u r being appreciative and understanding (the giving in component), they r more than willing to give in to u in future (the taking in component). juz rem one cannot be a selfish individual. cos at the end of the day, u may have all ur preferences and requests but ask urself from the bottom of ur heart, do u enjoy all these so-called achievements? and do u tink pple will continue to give in to u willingly? well, there mayb some instances when lucky individuals encounter some kind souls who r ever willing to give in without much grumbles. but how many of us can be such lucky individuals leh? & how many of us really wanna become tat selfish individual who would only tink of ownself?

therefore, in my opinion, to maintain a relationship with ur family, frens and loved ones in the long run, understanding and practising the art of give and take is very impt... before u complain tat other pple r not making effort to maintain the relationship, u ask urself in the 1st place if u r taking in too much and if u had been contributing enough in the maintanence of this relationship. before u question others, do post the question on urself. often u will realise u r the answer to most of ur queries. :D

a fren i noe since day 1 in AMKSS. she and i juz click off so well. she was standing behind me during our assembly in hall and she sat behind me in class and tat was how we started off as frens. then along the way, we realised we have lots in common. soon we became really great buddy. together with the rest (lin, jun and jas), we became very good frens. i will not forget Lian being my best frens since sec sch cos it is a very real and true frenship tat we share. she is forever so blur and careless but nevertheless, i noe she is a good fren to be with. i juz hope our frenship can go on for more and more...

it was a great great day!!! hahaha... is 2/4 gathering @ my house! well, so long nv see them so asked them over to my house to gather and catch up. since we din have a chalet last yr, tis shall be a gathering to make up ah... shun pian celebrate our 10th yr anniversary of frenship! heehee... well, quoted from someone... "we all dun change much sia..." is really true ah... other than prettier and more handsome (not for jun!!! whahaha), we r all the same... as noisy, loud, crappy, irritating as usual... hahaha... and the noise we made during our poker cards games and mahjong is really horrible ah! whahaha... can break all the glasses in my house sia... *faint*

it had been a long while since i last see all of them. well, certainly will miss all these gatherings again when i get back aussie. we had always been good frens since sec sch. every time whenever we have gathering, our laughter can fill up the whole place. non stop laughter and fun ah. really really great feeling! my days will always be brighten up by them cos they r simply the BEST!

to my beloved 2/4 frens: is 10th yr liao... looking at the silly photos (mainly shuwei ah!) we had, we all can't stop laughing... hopefuly 10 yrs down the road, we can sit down and laugh at the photos we took again... all of u take care ah! & look forward to next gathering... dunno when but shall wait for it ah!
