anyway, was there at the office pretty early. my managing director was not in today and so the marketing manager took over to direct me around and assign jobs for me to do. pretty easy tasks, filing and sending emails. hahaha... seems like i am an office girl sia. well, no lah. juz tat today the managing director is not around and the gal who is suppose to guide me thru was on leave too. so from next week on, i will expect something more to do. no longer can knock off 1 hr earlier and no longer feel sleepy during work ah. whahahaa... anyway, my working hrs is 9am to 5pm, 1 hr lunch break. sound cool, rite? as in only abt 7hrs work. where to find such timing in spore ah?
& today something happen which make me feel kinda paiseh ah... cos we need to start up the outlook express on the lappy i was using. then it juz wun open. so the marketing manager asked the other manager to help out. she got rather impatient as the lappy wun response. so there she is going thru the taskbar and saw the MSN. shit! it was on at tat time. i shld have off it. damn it! she opened up and asked wat is tis window messenger tingy? gosh~! then she said she wanna remove it. i was so happy tat she said so. she saw my nick, but seems tat she din mention anything. then the messenger pop up again with my email add and she asked wat's tat add. siao liao! i juz hope she dun have bad impression on me. well, i din install the msn, it was there when i was using the lappy. i merely juz logged in ah. whahaha... anyway, thru out when she keep asking abt it, i kept super cool and quiet as if i dunno anything. well, i wanna admit tat i "accidentally" signed in but b4 i could open mouth, she seems fustrated. so there i am, dun dare open my mouth liao. heehee...basically, the environment was very relaxed and nice to work in. really rather carefree style. juz tat tat particular manager seems very dominating and aggressive. better dun get into her way too often.
i have abt 10 weeks to learn abt the operations of the company and get to noe wat events management is all abt. hmm... is really abt all kind of events. whether tis is something i wanna, it seems a good chance for me to differentiate between whether my interest is in Events Management or Tourism Management. heehee...
