Girls & Ladies...

in general, i tink most girls/ladies tend to complain when someone commented tat they dun like their age. when one is being said to look younger than her actual age, one may tink whether the other party finds tat she is kiddy looking or childish in thinking. when one is being said to look older than her actual age, one will be rather upset and start to stock up on facial products, wrinkle cream and anti-ageing lotion. when we were young, we tried to dress as mature little adults. when we r much older now, we try to dress casually as over-age little girls. haha.. contradicting thinking indeed.

& as one starts to grow older, the way on how pple address u differs too. the very common example will be the encounters @ hawker centres. rem the days when u were being addressed as "小妹" or "Ah-Girl" by the chicken rice stall owner or fishball noodles seller? i rem tat when i was in pri 3, i had tis really short and tomboyish hairstyle. i was mistaken as "Ah-Boy" by the chicken rice stall owner. haha... then as time passed by, the greetings became "小姐" or "Miss". by the time when ur face starts to show the signs to show ur age, pple may start to address u as "Auntie". unless u manage to meet some really nice and kind hawkers who r so good & polite with their words, u will then escape the fate to be called "Auntie". & i am pretty sure tat these hawkers muz be having really good business from these "小姐们". heehee...
