a fruitful day...

haha... sat was a fruitful day sia... although the weather not so nice, i still feeling great! cos i did 2 tings which i had been longing to do when i was in aussie ah!!!

1st ting is to carry and play with my lovely niece, Lynnette! heehee... finally after a few weeks, i got the chance to visit her and look at her. as i was toking and playing with her, she seems to understand and can smile at me. so cute ah... when i carried her, she is so small lah... sleep comfortably in my arms. hahaha... lucky i nv forget how to carry baby ah... she is such a smart girl.. very responsive to voices and music. trying to tok as we r toking among ourselves but of cos watever she is saying r all baby toks... whahaha... "eee-yaa-eee-yaa..." tat was wat she was saying the whole morning... whahaha...

then in the evening, i met up with my pri sch frens. well, shld be last lot of frens i wanna meet up with ah... heehee... somemore pple whom i wanna meet up with but still no chance yet. anyway, see how ah... hahaha... back to pri sch gathering, i insisted tat i wanna go to chomp chomp... so ended up, they all went along with my request even it was raining like nobody's business... horrible wind blowing strong... super duper heavy rain... hahaha... "thanks guys, u guys simply rox ah! very ONZ and help me curb my desire for chomp chomp's food. hahaha..."

forget to take photos for 1st round of hokkien mee and fried oysters.. so here is our 2nd round of food... chicken wings, satay and sambal stingray... we all chip in 10bucks and juz order watever we wanna to eat and share ah... very shuang to eat in tis way ah... whahaha...

our last round... cos all cannot eat anymore liao... Fried carrot cake!!! nice ah... miss it so so much...

after chomp chomp, we headed down to Yunci's house for.... my long awaiting... MAHJONG! yes! yes! yes! din had chance to play the previous time at my house with 2/4 pple... so tis time round, i muz play with my pri sch frens ah.. hands very itchy to play mahjong sia... whahaha... okok... i noe i am setting bad impression by getting them play mahjong with me when they juz saw me after so long but i noe they will understand lah... whahaha... suppose to be over nite mahjong but ended up juz played till abt 12.30am and we went for supper lah. whahaha... and surprisingly, i won ah! i din win alot of $$$ but i am still contented ah... hahaha... i played with Yunci's grandma and very stressful lor... then now win her money, a bit paiseh sia... but then i muz say ah... her "Ah-ma" really very good ah. very alert, even more alert than us ah. still correct our mistake lor... whahaha... hmm.. come to tink, i miss out on taking grp photos with my pri sch frens ah... haahah... nvm, shall await for Chinese new yr to take with them ah... yeahz!

anyway, i am contented liao... played mahjong liao... eat the food i wanna eat and play with the niece i had been longing to see so all seems very good so far... slowly can prepare for special day (heehee), chinese new yr and go back aussie ah! yeahz... oh ya! here is another piece of good news... me going to be auntie again... heehee.. not so soon yet.. shld be in aug ah. yeahz! once again... woohoo~~!!!

my legs r aching after a day of walking around...

tis morning i went to see dentist and he turned out to be someone who wun laughed at the jokes he said ah. cool sia... usually pple will laugh when they crack jokes ah. tis dentist really steady ah... not even facial expression telling me tat he is laughing at the jokes lor... make me oso dunno shld laugh or remain cool ah... whahaha...

then i met Fiona for lunch and now both my legs r kinda aching ah... cos me and Fiona really walked a lot today... gosh... from Marina Square to orchard, we went round almost whole orchard ah. cannot tahan ah... well, all for one motive ah... heehee... a good one of cos! cos Fiona wanna buy me a pressie for my bday ah... and she came to ask me choose my own pressie and tell her. so might as well we go out for shopping and check it out together! yeahz!

got nutting from marina square so there we were, heading down to Orchard, Far East and finally got wat i wanna! yeahz!!! so it became my 1st bday pressie ah... whahaha... "thanx Fiona for tis early bday pressie! muackzzzz...!!!!* PS: not trying to drop hints here abt my bday ah... hahaha... juz sharing something pleasant lah... so pple, pls dun mis understand my entry hor... :)

act quite weird meeting Fiona in spore ah... cos i noe her in Aussie act. is like she is Yunci's JC fren and Yunci intro to me so now she became my fren too. but most of our times together r spent in Aussie. whahaha... tis is 1st time i met her in spore sia.. well, kinda warmth feeling oso cos so long nv see her and is like have lots to tok to her ah... can u believe it, we met like abt 1 yr plus ago only ah... whahahaha... but seems as if we noe for ages lah... always can tok non stop when we go out... i tot in aussie only... today when we went out, oso same ah... whahaha...

the art of give and take...

as per the title:
give... meaning to give in to other people's requests and preferences. take... taking wat had been given or offered to u according to ur preferences and requests. i always always believe tat the art of give and take is very important in maintaining human relationship. be it kinship, frenship, boy-girl relationship. cos in all cases we r facing human and human beings r complex and unpredictable by nature.

in many instances, human beings always have all kind of requests and preferences whereby they will expect others to understand and give in to. however, in other instances, they forget wat is known as respect and understanding. the reason behind the art of give and take is very simple... "give the same treatment to someone in the way tat u would like to be treated" always be polite, understanding and respectful. if u wanna pple to give in to u, u muz 1st learn to give in to pple. by doing tat, u will then have the rights to take in pple's kindness to u. in this world, nutting is always one-sided. yesterday and today, u may be the one who always get wat u wanna. tomolo and future, u may not get all tat anymore. when u take in, u muz learn to give in too.

when we r dealing with human relationship, always rem tat appreciative and understanding r very impt. u learn to appreciate wat others have done for u or offered to u as well as look from other pple's perspective to spare a tot for others. human beings have their emotional and soft sides. therefore when they feel tat u r being appreciative and understanding (the giving in component), they r more than willing to give in to u in future (the taking in component). juz rem one cannot be a selfish individual. cos at the end of the day, u may have all ur preferences and requests but ask urself from the bottom of ur heart, do u enjoy all these so-called achievements? and do u tink pple will continue to give in to u willingly? well, there mayb some instances when lucky individuals encounter some kind souls who r ever willing to give in without much grumbles. but how many of us can be such lucky individuals leh? & how many of us really wanna become tat selfish individual who would only tink of ownself?

therefore, in my opinion, to maintain a relationship with ur family, frens and loved ones in the long run, understanding and practising the art of give and take is very impt... before u complain tat other pple r not making effort to maintain the relationship, u ask urself in the 1st place if u r taking in too much and if u had been contributing enough in the maintanence of this relationship. before u question others, do post the question on urself. often u will realise u r the answer to most of ur queries. :D

a fren i noe since day 1 in AMKSS. she and i juz click off so well. she was standing behind me during our assembly in hall and she sat behind me in class and tat was how we started off as frens. then along the way, we realised we have lots in common. soon we became really great buddy. together with the rest (lin, jun and jas), we became very good frens. i will not forget Lian being my best frens since sec sch cos it is a very real and true frenship tat we share. she is forever so blur and careless but nevertheless, i noe she is a good fren to be with. i juz hope our frenship can go on for more and more...

it was a great great day!!! hahaha... is 2/4 gathering @ my house! well, so long nv see them so asked them over to my house to gather and catch up. since we din have a chalet last yr, tis shall be a gathering to make up ah... shun pian celebrate our 10th yr anniversary of frenship! heehee... well, quoted from someone... "we all dun change much sia..." is really true ah... other than prettier and more handsome (not for jun!!! whahaha), we r all the same... as noisy, loud, crappy, irritating as usual... hahaha... and the noise we made during our poker cards games and mahjong is really horrible ah! whahaha... can break all the glasses in my house sia... *faint*

it had been a long while since i last see all of them. well, certainly will miss all these gatherings again when i get back aussie. we had always been good frens since sec sch. every time whenever we have gathering, our laughter can fill up the whole place. non stop laughter and fun ah. really really great feeling! my days will always be brighten up by them cos they r simply the BEST!

to my beloved 2/4 frens: is 10th yr liao... looking at the silly photos (mainly shuwei ah!) we had, we all can't stop laughing... hopefuly 10 yrs down the road, we can sit down and laugh at the photos we took again... all of u take care ah! & look forward to next gathering... dunno when but shall wait for it ah!

6 Days 5 Nights Tasmania Trip - Day 6

Day 6: Home Sweet Home back to Brisbane...

Is Day 6 already! after enjoying for 6 days, is time to say goodbye to Tasmania and head back to Brisbane. overall it was a great and benefiting experience. great as i really enjoyed and saw alot of tings. benefiting as i learnt to become even more independent by travelling alone. i can do it on my own! yes!!! heehee...

before heading back to Hobart City, i had my breaky at the cottage. yummy breaky leh...

6 Days 5 Nights TAsmania Trip - Day 5

Day 5: Cadbury Factory Tour & Richmond Overnight Stay

yeahz!!! is my favourite... chocolate factory tour... Cadbury Factory tour. along the tour i cannot take photos so before the start of the tour, i told some photos at the entrance. is the model of the advertisement. is all made of chocolates! i wanna eat ah!!! whahaha... it was an eye opening experience as i could see how chocolates r made. however, the tour itself was rather not worth the money leh... quite a short tour ah... :P

after the tour was a harbour cruise lunch. so here we r passing by the Tassie bridge...

after lunch, walked around the boat to take photos of the surrounding....

before i set off to Richmond after the chocolate factory tour, i saw them! yes! is Peixuan and YiHong (correct spelling?) i saw them at the factory and saw them again at city... heehee...

off to Richmond at abt 4pm. Richmond is a old George Town and i am very interested in the heritage buildings. so i decided to change my itinerary so tat i can squeeze Richmond into my tour. on my own, i took a public transport from Hobart city to Richmond. as there r no transport back to city at nite, so i had to check out at my hostel and stay a night at Richmond. yeahz! can have a diff experience.. of cos it will not be a cheap cost ah.. upon reaching Richmond, i quickly found a cottage for my stay and it cost me AUD$130 for a night stay for the whole cottage. some food r provided for me to make my own breaky. well, it is exp but i have no choice ah... haha..

Day 4: Port Arthur

Port Arthur is a prison whereby the British sent their convicts to in the early days. & usually all these convicts committed crimes for 2nd, 3rd times and so on. Port Arthur is quite a nice environment actually. but we will never noe how it is actually like in the past... all we have in front of us r the ruins left behind and furnished houses for touristic purposes. nonetheless, we should treasure all these heritage remains for future references...
