Bellini Grande is quite a posh pub. classy theme, nice ambience but kinda disappointing service standard. we were pretty pissed off by the attitude given by the service staff who led us to the table. she offered us a four-seated table when there were 5 of us and we originally booked a table for 5. her attitude was not good at all, with a rather bu shuang face. as for the rest of the service staff, they were still okay. but since Bellini wanna present themselves as such a posh and classy place with the "ah-tas" pple as their target audience, they shld and must improve their service standard. as for the entertainment, it was pretty entertaining and interesting for the period of 830pm - 930pm. the lead singer of the band tried to engage the audience which created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. although some of his jokes maybe too crude at times, i tink it was acceptable for entertainment purposes. we left Bellini @ abt 1030pm as the 2nd half of the entertainment started to get a bit boring for us. it was a good experience for us though. we enjoyed ourselves very much, laughing at the jokes and having fun "suan-ning" one another. after last nite, both Lin and Lian have new nicknames. Lin is the "destroyer by will" as she tried to put out the candle fire with a drop of Jas' Whiskey coke and tried to cover the candle fire with the menu stand. her reasoning for tis move was to see if the candle fire will go off when there is lack of oxygen. how creative she was ah... :D as for Lian, she is known as the "destroyer by nature". when i saw her hands swaying here and there she was talking, i tried to move her cup of Lychee Martini away from her. but ultimately, it did not work. her hands hit the glass and half of her drink was gone which oso put out the other lighted candle. haha... so after wat happened, we did not dare place any item in front of Lian. whahaha... to play safe la...
after Bellini, Lin went home 1st to rest after a long day for her while the remaining of us went to another pub to have fun. it was so crowded after 12am and we had to squeeze thru pple in order to get around. after much drinking and dancing and loud music, we decided to head home. our outing ended at abt 2plus. by the time i got home, it was close to 3am. wooooo... i only went to bed at abt 4plus in the morning. i muz say tat i am old liao. not used to all these late nite activities and excitement. Lian suggested to go to Zouk the next time round. i guess is okay to go as we all had fun last nite but i tink we all need some time to recover before we go to the next one. haha...
