the fairy tale-liked wedding...

Happy Birthday to Waileng!!! whahaha... since is her bday today, so I tot of uploading the long out-dated photos which I took during her wedding on 25 Sep. i meant to update these photos earlier but I kept forgeting to load the photos into my laptop. so here we r, the update and photos for the fairy tale-liked wedding.

on 25 Sep, Jasmine & I attended Waileng's wedding @ Goodwood Park Hotel. as it was a busy period for Jasmine, her work ended late and thus, we only arrived @ the hotel at abt 7.40pm. thinking that we might have miss the Holy Matrimony, we tried our best to rush to the hotel. to our surprise, we were in time for the Holy Matrimony. i guess is really Singaporeans' practice or rather the usual wedding tradition for pple to be late. esp when it is a working day, such late arrival will be expected. anyway, since we were in time for the Holy Matrimony, we went thru a approx 30mins of fairy-tale-liked wedding ceremony. It was my first time attending the Holy Matrimony. after tat, dinner proceeded as per usual wedding dinner with a toast of champagne and cutting of cake.

Waileng is my pri school friend. we have been good friends since pri 5 which means our friendship has been going on strong for almost 13 years. it is a great pleasure for me to be able to attend an old fren's wedding and i am really happy for her to able to find her soul mate. someone who understands her, someone who will dote on her and someone who will be there to spend the rest of her life together. when i was at the wedding dinner, many thots were running in my mind. looking at the bride standing on the stage, memories juz flooded my mind. it seems like juz yesterday when both Waileng & I were having long hrs of chat on the phone (our usual hobby during pri sch days) and it seems like juz moments ago, we had our Pri sch graduation ceremony. haha... looking back at this period of 13yrs, we have all grew up to b young adults. proceeding on to the next stage of our life, Waileng has now become someone's wife. taking on a different responsibility, i believe she will do a good job as Mrs Chiam. i hereby would like to express my warmest wishes to the loving couple... 百年好合,永结同心!
