New Year Dinner...

on 1st day of the New Year, we gathered at Lay San's house for some yummy food to kick off Year 2008. before Phil and Felicia gets busy with summer classes, before I get busy with my lovely thesis, before Lay San goes back to Malaysia, let's feast! woohoo~!!!

Dish 1: Felicia's Fried Bee Hoon..
the taste is just right, not too blend, not too salty. i like it. but after till now i can't really differentiate is pork or chicken ah. hahaha...

Dish 2: Ma Po Tofu..
woooo... my dish ah. heehee... i added in Asparagus. Feli said is weird combination. haha.. i noe ah, but i juz added in cos i had Asparagus left and i wanna to add some "colour" to the dish. heehe.. but kinda failed ah, cos can't see the Asparagus leh... :P

Dish 3: Stir fry beef with smokey BBQ sauce...
Lay San's dish.. she very pro sia.. the layout is like restaurant dishes ah. hahaha... nice combination of lettuce and beef. the lettuce blended the salty taste of the sauce so the overall taste of the dish is just right. :D

Dish 4: Fish Head Curry...
Phil's dish... is considered as good for 1st try as the fish meat is not overcooked and is covered with curry taste. the curry may be a bit blend as he added too much water thinking is too spicy but overall, the feel is there. fishy taste.. haha..


everyone did a great job to make tis dinner possible... Bravo!!!


heehee... pork patty..
when i was cooking the Ma Po Tofu, there were some minced pork left. so i decided to marinate it and put it into the oven to make pork patty. haha...

tat's all for now.. wanna sleep liao... tomolo shall work hard ah... brand new year liao.. no more slacking!!!
