a day of relaxation...

Tis weekend is the Buddha Festival celebrations in Brisbane. I never had chance to go for the celebrations for the previous 2 years so this year, I was thinking of going down for a look at this event which had been going on for years.

the event was pretty interesting and rather grand as the celebrations was held over quite a large area at Southbank area along the Brisbane River. there were many Chinese arts and cultural stuff for exhibit, there was a kids' art and crafts section and a area for pple to take photos with costumes for traditional Chinese wedding. of cos, there were many stalls selling Asian food. on top of that, we were in time to watch some wushu performances and hip-hop dance performances which were rather entertaining overall it was quite a grand event celebrated by not only the Buddhists but by many other pple. I tink the Aussies shld be pretty interested in Asians' cultures and customs.

after the festival, Grace & I went to walk around Southbank weekend market as I wanna try something which i had been eyeing for quite a while. heehee... tat is TATTOO!!! heehee... daring yeahz?
