last day in Brisbane before flying back to Singapore.. is Australian Day!!! woohoo~!!! early in the morning, Philip & I reported at South Bank Parklands for the volunteer work for Australian Day. busy day but it was great fun! i really enjoy all these volunteering work as there r lots of fun and laughter along the way. heehee...
our job tat day was to b @ the information stand to provide information and assist pple to put on some water tattoo & provide some wrist bands for the kids' identification purposes. the water tattoo is the design of the Aussie flag. pple r very excited abt it and the queue for the tattoo was never ending. we had a fun time putting on the tattoo for pple... age range from little babies to old granny... hahaha... from 930am to 5pm, i put on countless tattoo for pple at various areas such as cheeks, arms, hands, necks... the most unique area which pple asked me to put the tattoo at was the chin & the chest. it was a tiring day, at the end of the day my back was aching ah... hahaha... but all effort was worth while! i saw happy pple enjoying the celebration for Australian Day so my effort to help out is worth while! heehee...
